It really depends upon the service being provided. I charge flat rates for many drafting services. This takes the surprise out of the equation...you know what your total cost will be when the invoice comes due. For example, a revocable living trust package starts at $1,500.00 plus costs for a married couple. One half will be due before drafting commences and the other half is due at signing. For trust administration, I generally charge at my hourly rate of $225.00 per hour. Probate fees are set by statute unless summary adjudication is warranted. For entity formation, I charge $1,000.00 plus costs. Prices, naturally, are subject to change.
